Presence of Pars Isotope in the 6th International Cancer Congress

Pars Isotope, the exclusive producer and supplier of radiopharmaceuticals and diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceutical kits in Iran, had an effective presence at the 6th International Cancer Congress, which was held from May 13 to 15 at Shahid Beheshti University’s Faculty of Midwifery and Nursing.
Cancers, as the second cause of death in Iran and the world after cardiovascular diseases and the most costly disease, have always been the focus of health system policymakers and its executives. Today, with the presence of efficient forces throughout the country and team cooperation between scientific groups, the disease can be managed in the closest place to patients’ homes. In this case, the existence of groups that can convey the latest scientific and practical achievements in this field is more prominent.
The Cancer Research Center (affiliated with Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences) with the cooperation of university professors and eminent doctors inside and outside the country has undertaken this task in response to its scientific and experimental mission. This research center is trying to establish, maintain and improve its scientific relationship with all colleagues in the field of diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and palliative support.
As the exclusive producer and supplier of radiopharmaceuticals in Iran, Pars Isotope also experienced an effective presence in the 6th International Cancer Conference. Professor Mohammad Ismail Akbari, the head of the Cancer Research Center, while visiting Pars Isotope’s booth, praised Pars Isotope’s activity and presence in such congresses. Moreover, He also pointed to radiopharmaceuticals as an efficient tool in cancer diagnosis, treatment and palliative methods and requested more use of radiopharmaceuticals by cancer surgeons.
This congress, which was held for three consecutive days from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, was a suitable forum for scientific discussion and exchange of opinions between cancer surgeons. In this congress, just like the previous congresses, efforts were made to take the latest operational and scientific developments in cancer care and cancer patients into account. The causes of cancers and their rate of occurrence, how to care for cancer patients, cost, effectiveness, diagnostic and therapeutic measures and using new treatment methods with a clear indicator of increasing life expectancy or the quality of life in patients, were some of the prominent components in this congress.
