I-131 MIBG DIAGNOSTIC

The I-131 MIBG Diagnostic radiopharmaceutical is used to diagnose neuroendocrine tumors, especially neuroectodermal (sympathoadrenal) tumors including pheochromocytoma, paraganglioma, and neuroblastoma. This radiopharmaceutical is injected in form of a lucid solution in doses of 1, 2, 3 and 4 mCi. The amount of dose prescribed for the patient depends on the opinion of treating physician and the stage of disease.
