After labeling with gallium-68, PARS-Galu-TATE diagnostic kit is used for PET imaging of neuroendocrine tumors. Neuroendocrine tumors are sort of rather rare cancers that arise from special cells which have traits like the endocrine glands (hormonal) and nervous systems, and they may occur anywhere in the body. Most neuroendocrine tumors occur in the lungs, appendix, small intestine, rectum, and pancreas. The PARS-Galu-TATE radiopharmaceutical kit is used after labeling with gallium-68 to provide high quality images from the patient using a PET scan device for diagnosis of this type of cancer.
