Holding the Congress and Gathering of Specialists in Nuclear Medicine, Hematology, Oncology, and Radiation Oncology

The one-day congress “Meeting of Specialists in Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Hematology, and Oncology” was held for the first time, organized by Pars Isotope Company and hosted by Shohada-e Tajrish Hospital, on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

According to the Public Relations report of Pars Isotope, this conference, which was held with the aim of sharing the latest scientific findings for the diagnosis and control of cancer, succeeded in becoming a platform for the convergence of specialists in this field to exchange novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

H.E Mr. Eslami, the esteemed Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran; Dr. Raiszadeh, President of the Iranian Medical Council; Dr. Razavi, President of the Iranian Society of Nuclear Medicine; Dr. Mousavi, Secretary of the Board of Adult Hematology and Oncology; Dr. Ghanbari Motlagh, President of the Iranian Society of Radiation Oncology; as well as Dr. Shojaei, Head of Shohada-e Tajrish Hospital, and Dr. Sadeghi, CEO of the PET-CT Center of Shohada-e Tajrish Hospital, were among the distinguished guests and keynote speakers of this conference.

Mr. Eslami, at this conference, emphasized that “today we are obliged to advance at the frontiers of knowledge and must not neglect our active presence at these frontiers.” He added: “If nuclear medicine did not exist in the country, people would certainly be deprived of important therapeutic services, and the nation’s healthcare sector would lack this valuable capacity.” He further stated: “What is even more important is that in advancing the country’s health programs, we believe interaction and convergence among specialists is essential for utilizing novel therapeutic approaches.”

Subsequently, other keynote speakers and special guests also emphasized the necessity of conferences such as this and the gathering of specialists in the field of cancer as a multifaceted disease.

This conference, attended by approximately 300 specialists from various fields, focused on innovative cancer treatment strategies and the necessity of convergence among different medical and engineering disciplines to combat this disease, providing attendees and participants with access to the latest scientific findings.
