Foreign Minister’s Visit to Pars Isotope
According to the Public Relations Department of Pars Isotope Company, on Monday, November 10, 2025, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, accompanied by some of his deputies, officially visited the laboratories and production lines of radiopharmaceuticals at Pars Isotope Company.
During this visit, which was attended by Mohammad Eslami, Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, and a group of senior managers of the country’s nuclear industry, the Foreign Minister became acquainted with the production stages of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, was closely informed about the new achievements of Iranian specialists in the field of developing new radiopharmaceuticals.
Araghchi, appreciating the efforts of Pars Isotope specialists, described the role of this complex in meeting the needs of the country’s nuclear medicine centers and enhancing Iran’s scientific and technological capabilities in the field of peaceful applications of atomic energy as highly valuable. He emphasized the continued support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for scientific and technological activities in this field..
During the visit, the CEO of Pars Isotope, while presenting a report on the production process and exports of radiopharmaceuticals, elaborated on the company’s development plans for increasing production capacity, indigenizing raw materials, and expanding international cooperation. Referring to the illegal US sanctions against this pharmaceutical company, he added: “As the largest producer of radiopharmaceuticals in the region, Pars Isotope continues to stride forward in developing novel nuclear technologies in the service of public health.”
