Production of Radiopharmaceuticals Continues in Wartime Conditions

According to the Public Relations Department of Pars Isotope, the uninterrupted production of Gallium-68 and FDG radiopharmaceuticals is ongoing.

Since the onset of the war and despite various limitations, Pars Isotope, as the sole custodian of radiopharmaceutical production and supply in Iran, has managed—just as during the twelve-day war—to meet the needs of nuclear medicine centers by producing radiopharmaceuticals Ga-68-PSMA, Ga-68-DOTATATE, Ga-68-FAPI, and FDG that these centers use for diagnosing various diseases and cancers.

Sufficient quantities of raw materials for the production of the aforementioned radiopharmaceuticals are available, and the alternative production pathways, which had been previously devised, are currently operational. We are striving to continue providing services to patients under any circumstances and are utilizing our maximum production capacity for this purpose.
