A specialized system providing controlled temperature and uniform conditions for cold kit labelling

Nuclear medicine departments and PET centers require controlled temperature and shaking of cold kits at specific times for the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals. Proper labeling of radiopharmaceuticals has a direct impact on the final quality of nuclear medicine images.

 

The HOT POT device, with its modern design and user-friendly interface, allows users to heat kits in a dry environment at precise temperatures and for the required duration. This design improves the control of the radiopharmaceutical preparation process and accelerates the radiolabeling of radionuclides and pharmaceutical materials, leading to greater accuracy in imaging processes.

Additionally, with the aim of radiation protection, an optimal thickness of lead has

been used to reduce the risk of exposure to radiation. The device is equipped with both a HOT POT and a shaker in two separate chambers, allowing the precise heating and shaking of two cold kits within a desired time frame and up to a maximum temperature of 150 ℃.

 

The temperature and duration for each cold kit are adjustable and can be saved in memory, allowing the user to easily select the corresponding kit on the device’s touch screen and start the preparation process with a single button.

Due to its unique design and the use of standard materials, heat transfer occurs rapidly, and after the set time elapsed, the user is alerted by an audible notification, thereby preventing unnecessary exposure.
