A high-density tungsten shield designed to provide optimal radiation protection for radiopharmaceuticals

The tungsten shield securely contains radioactive materials, protecting operators and the environment from contamination and exposure to PET radiopharmaceutical radiation.

Due to its design, it decreases the intensity of exposure between the operator and the radioactive source during handling and transport. It also maintains the integrity of the transported radioactive source by absorbing shocks and withstanding temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C.

It is equipped with a large, screw-top locking handle and a lid with an O-ring, ensuring both safety and easy handling. These features guarantee secure containment of radioactive sources while providing a good grip and stability for the container during routine handling and transportation of radiopharmaceuticals.
